All information from GPRS tracking system is continually (24/7, 365 days a week) received on Celtrac's central server and stored indefinitely. This information is retrievable via Travel Partner at any time from anywhere. History generated by tracking systems (such as when a vehicle leaves and re-enters GPRS coverage) is automatically stored on central server and downloaded to Travel Partner. Area Violations, Speed Alarms etc. and other related information are automatically displayed on-screen and automatically logged to the client's local hard disk. On-screen information is colour coded and can be customised as required. Vehicle history viewing, playback and filtering. Unlimited custom points can easily be added to mapping by client. Area management including Safe Area, No-Go and Preferred Areas. Routes and Checkpoints Many types of reports can be generated and either printed, saved into virtually any format including PDF, CSV, Rich text or HTML. All tracking information received by Travel Partner is stored on local disk and is accessible by third-party programs such as Microsoft Excel for further custom processing and report generation. Clients have the option of operating a 'GPRS Server', which is permanently connected to Celtrac's mail GPRS server, on their own premises. Travel Partner installed at the clients' premises can then connect to their own local GPRS server. The benefits of this include reduced bandwidth cost, quicker access to information and faster downloads, as well as redundant data.
