BACKGROUND
The development of Celtrac's products and service offering has a rich history which started in 1996. Our development partner was the first company in the world to offer a Cellular based GPS integrated Vehicle Management and Tracking system that offered a fully bi-directional, interactive, intelligent system with the capability to "live" update position and vehicle telemetric information on a second by second basis. The original design catered for 52 different functions specified by transport and fleet management industry (at that stage).

As technology advanced and cellular communication protocols changed, we adjusted and adapted our design criteria to capatalise on the latest technologies available, ensuring that our clients always derive the benefit of these achievements. 1999 saw the birth of the Mobi-Track system - an advanced adaptation to the original design and the forerunner to the Buddi-Track product suite launched during 2002. The Buddi II was specifically designed to cater for the now popular GPS and Cellular GPRS integrated systems, and again represented a "world first" utilising this technology combination.
